Welcome to the Online Meditation Chapel, a place where people of all faiths can worship together in silence. We welcome meditation groups from every faith tradition to use our online chapels. This is a free site and we do not accept any advertisements. It is our gift of love to you. We look forward to sharing the silence with you.
The Meditation Chapel Vision
Meditation Chapel nurtures unity and world peace through the sharing of divine stillness and sacred listening. We support groups of all faith traditions in offering and sharing the contemplative experience through the sacramental use of technology.
What is Online Group Meditation?
Meditation is the practice of quieting your mind. Many meditation communities encourage group meditation, which means that at least some of the times you are meditating you are doing so in a group. Online group meditation simply means that the group you are meditating with is meeting online, rather than physically.
Our desire is to offer you a virtual chapel where you can experience the beauty and community of online meditation groups.
Benefits of Online Group Meditation
Meditation in general has many well known benefits. New health benefits of meditation are being discovered constantly. Meditation has been shown to help people psychologically both by reducing anxiety and by providing a supportive community. And meditation has been the spiritual cornerstone of every major religious tradition for as long as we have had religions.
Online meditation groups offer all of these benefits in a more convenient format. You can join an online meditation group from the convenience of your own home. And because we have so many online meditation groups meeting throughout the day and night, you will be able to find a welcoming online meditation group that is convenient regardless of your faith tradition, schedule, or time zone.
